As a new form of sports and lifestyle, E-sports is widely loved and pursued by young people all over the world, but it also brings many problems. How to improve and solve these problems is one of the major contemporary issues. The physical education teaching and Research Department of Peking University is taking practical actions to find the answers to these questions: promoting the healthy development of E-sports through the combination of industry, University and research.

On July 20, 2021, the healthy E-sports Development Center (hereinafter referred to as the "center") of the physical education teaching and Research Department of Peking University held a launching ceremony in the high-speed railway new town, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou. On the other hand, E-sports needs to pour cold water. It needs some critical vision. This industry should stand more criticism and tests before it can develop healthily. At the same time, it will also timely hold Peking University Health E-sports Summit Forum, Peking University Health E-sports experience camp, Peking University Health E-sports theme seminar, Peking University Health E-sports theme salon While launching the research results of the project, the lecture hall of famous teachers of healthy E-sports at Peking University will also invite the backbone of the current e-sports industry to conduct in-depth discussions on topics such as healthy e-sports, talent training and industrial status. 

As an important part of the whole launching ceremony, the first round table forum of healthy E-sports development center of Peking University was also held on site.
